Learn artful ways to cope with life's challenges, anxiety, and stress by utilizing the empowering and healing capacities of writing. Creative writing exercises will be presented as tools for personal reflection and betterment. Individuals should come prepared to write and will be guided through writing exercises using prompts and mindful inspiration. The workshop will focus on nonfiction writing, including free writing, memoir, and poetry, with additional exercises shared for experimentation at home. Participants will leave equipped to apply the writing tools in compassionate self-care personally and in their communities.
