Films at the Library: Point Blank

Join us at the library for a wide variety of films! We will be showing: Point Blank Master thief, Walker (Lee Marvin) is betrayed during a heist, and left for dead, by a man he thought was his friend. Surviving the double cross, he returns a few months later looking for the money, and revenge, that he's owed. It's not going to be easy, especially in a crime syndicate with a strict corporate structure, but Walker will not be stopped. This stylish, almost surreal, crime thriller from director John Boorman, is a cult favourite and one of the most influential movies of its era. Based on the novel The Hunter, by Donald E. Westlake (Under the pseudonym Richard Stark). Rating: PG Runtime: 92 minutes
