Renting can be complicated. The Rent Ready Certificate Course can make it easier. Take this FREE course offered by the City of Edmonton and its partners to learn skills on how to become a great tenant and navigate the rental market. This 4-week FREE course offered September 22 to October 13 will give you the knowledge and tools you need to find the right and keep the right housing for you. Staff from the City of Edmonton and Bissell Centre with expertise in residential tenancy legislation and financial empowerment will help you learn: Your rights and responsibilities as a tenant The responsibilities of your landlord How to make the most of your money and find savings How to maintain a safe home How to communicate effectively with your landlord How to navigate the application process This course is offered over four weeks on Tuesdays from 10:00-12:30 pm (including a half-hour break) on: September 22 September 29 October 6 October 13 You must attend all four sessions in person in order to get a certificate.
